Roger K. Cady, MD

Roger K. Cady, MD, is the co-founder and director of the Headache Care Center and founder of Clinvest and Primary Care Network in Springfield, Missouri. He is vice-president of the National Headache Foundation. Dr. Cady received his medical degree from the Mayo Medical School in Rochester, MN, completed a residency in family practice at St. Francis Mayo in LaCrosse, WI, and is certified by the American Board of Family Practice.

A co-recipient of the H.G. Wolff Award from the American Headache Society in 2000 for his research on the spectrum of primary headache in migraine sufferers, he has been instrumental in developing the early intervention paradigm for treatment of acute migraine and defining “sinus headache” as a common clinical presentation of migraine. He has authored over 150 peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and abstracts. He has lectured around the world and has been the principal investigator in multicenter studies on migraine, post-traumatic headache, and other pain disorders.
